In order to qualify for supplemental and emergency food, clothing, linens, and housewares, you must meet the following eligibility guidelines:

  1. You must be a resident of Erie County, Ohio residing in one of the following zip codes: 43438, 44811, 44814, 44824, 44839, 44846, 44847, 44870, 44889, and portions of 44089.
  2. You must meet ODJFS TEFAP household size and income guidelines. You can view the OHIO JFS Income Guidelines here.
  3. You must bring a picture ID for all household family members 18 and older to sign in. If your current ID does not have your address listed, please bring in a piece of mail showing proof you are an Erie County, Ohio resident. For family members under 18, please bring in identification such as a birth certificate, medical card, social security card, or some other form of ID.

No. Our Choice Food Pantry and Clothing/Linens/Housewares Pantry is open during the following hours:

  • Monday – 9am to 10:45am and 1pm to 2:45pm
  • Tuesday – 9am to 10:45am and 1pm to 2:45pm
  • Tuesday Evening – 5pm to 6:45pm
  • Thursday – 9am to 10:45am and 1pm to 2:45pm

You can mail monetary donations to Care and Share, 241 Jackson Street, Sandusky, OH 44870 or stop by during our donation hours, which are:

  • Monday – 11am to 12:45pm
  • Tuesday – 11am to 12:45pm and 3pm to 4:45pm
  • Thursday – 11am to 12:45pm
  • Or by appointment. Please call us at (419) 624-1411 to make an appointment.
